Shedding a Little Light on Votes of No Confidence

May 06, 2013

In March, the Faculty of Arts and Science registered a vote of no confidence in John Sexton’s leadership; less than three weeks later, the School of Law overwhelmingly voted on a resolution in support of Sexton. Since then, several other NYU schools have decided to proceed with or consider votes of their own.

In an effort to shed some light on the situation, the Washington Square News hosted a discussion moderated by Olivia Gonzalez that featured a student and an FAS faculty member from each side of the debate.

It may take longer to watch than your average YouTube video, but it was an enlightening and lively airing of some of the issues. If you care about NYU, it’s definitely worth a few minutes of your time.
